"Reject"
by Green Day
off the album .nimrod
The amounts of strokes are not fully accurate, those you can easily tell for
yourself. They are merely meant to recognise timing for you, to tell
whether or not it is held for a while or just quick decorations, which there
aren't many of in this song for Green Day.
Mike Dirnt always plays with a pick, this song is no exception. He also
plays with a snappy, punchy sound if you care to change your tone to get
that tight-strung Green Day/Less Than Jake type bass feel that sounds like a
banjo in heat.
(three snare/bass beats, then the bass & guitar come in)
