tab for intro and verses and chorus:

this is *very* rough... she uses lots of distortion so the notes are
difficult to tab... plus she varies it a lot throughout the song.
most of the verses and chorus, though i say are chorded, simply use the
chorded fingering, but pick them apart.
one of us

(yodel)
oh...
one of these nights at about twelve o'clock
this whole earth's gonna reel and rock...
things thay'll tremble and cry for pain
for the Lord's gonna come in his heavenly airplane.
(picked intro x8)
(chorded verse: f#m d a em)
if God had a name... what would it be?
and would you call it to his face if you were faced with him
in all his glory -- what would you ask if you had
just one question?
(bridge)
f#m a e
yeah... yeah... God is great
yeah... yeah... God is good
f#m e
yeah... yeah... yeah... yeah... yeah...
(picked or chorded chorus)
what if God was one of us?
just a slob like one of us?
just a stranger on the bus trying to make his way
home
(chorded verse)
if God had a face, what would it look like and would
you want to see... if seeing meant that you would
have to believe, in things like heaven and in
jesus and the saints and all the prophets
(repeat bridge)
(repeat chorus)
(chorus extension)
trying to make his way home
like up to heaven all alone
nobody calling on the phone
cept for the pope maybe in rome
(solo: repeat & chorus -- no lyrics)
(repeat bridge)
